"In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect."
-Alice Walker
This weekend has flown by. Some exciting news: There is a possibility that I might get to study abroad next summer, if we can afford it!! I really want to study literature and (of course) photography, and maybe some language in a foreign place! I would absolutely, utterly, indubitably love it. I am so excited to start looking at programs and possible scholarships. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Please!
Since I've been posting some portraits, I decided to switch to some subjects I've captured in nature. In searching for pictures related to nature, I have concluded that I have way too many! So these are just a handful out of the bunch.
I feel a little bit more comfortable taking pictures of nature rather than people, simply because nature isn't afraid of the camera and it'll hold still for me! Ha :) But now that I've had a lot more experience with taking pictures of people, I have to say I love to capture both nature and people. People show so much raw, beautiful emotion - and most of the time, they're not even aware that it's written all over their face! However, nature can be quite loud with emotion as well. It's a pretty cool thing to witness.
So anyway, I'm going to stop rambling now and start my literature paper on the similarities between the Israelites of "New Jerusalem" and the Puritans of the "New World." Hooray for the Old Testament! ;D
